Happy Birthday Dusty
hope you have a lovely day.
Ended up having to sort bills paying when I got back so had to leave the vacuuming first. Youngest dog who's the biggest soft lump ever cried and tried to get away from the grooming lady, so I left him with a tear in my eye, soft lump that I am.
Right, vacuuming won't do itself so I best crack on with it.One day I might be more organised...........

Happy Birthday Dusty, hope you have a lovely day.
Pigpen - poor DD1, never easy when a pet goes or indeed to watch a child hurting and not be able to help.
Serena -I am just envious that you go to the shows. I spent my childhood being dragged round various garden centres and shows, just wish I had spent more time actually looking and listening. Only really got very interested in the last few years and haven't joined anything (yet!). The AGS show at Loughborough is my closest so may go to the March one. This year I have promised myself I will go the the BBC Gardeners World thing as well.
DS1 is home, DS2 is at nursery till lunchtime. Far too cold to be outside, so we went to Aldi to get some gardening bits. I also bought 6 microfibre cloths - which worries me slightly. They are all different types though......
Right, off to do DW and WM. DS1 wants to make pancakes again - it will be the fourth time this week 'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Thanks all xx
The piglets are funny I was listening to them this morning from upstairs.. they noticed fuzbun wasn't there so hunted everyehere for him.. then they started on conspiracy theories.. we had been burgled and he had been stolen, his sister had eaten him:eek: and he had squeezed through the cage bars and run away.. so I sent hubby to tell them (cos I am a wuss!!) and they said.. oh.. ok.. and ran off to play.. the mminds of small children never ceases to amaze and baffle me!!
Anyway.. Today hubby has decided he will make his mess upstairs so I'm going to do a spot of flinging.. it makes me feel better.. and I may even go completely overboard and clean out the entire larder unit.. cos I am STRANGE!!
Best go devise a list..

Samphire I think I'd leave it for a bit, I used to get 1 week off every 4-5 weeks when I was working, so I'd wait till the week off and try then, It took about 3 attempts for DS, I tried the ping pong ball too but DH had more fun with that :rotfl: It has to be when they are ready
Checked the list-sorry can't do, DH asleep in there, does that mean I get a day off??!! Aaaaawww OK then I'll do yesterdays as I didn't get any doneWW lost 33 lbs so far, [strike]13st1lb[/strike] [strike]12st13lbs[/strike] [STRIKE]11st12.5lbs[/STRIKE] 11st11lbs0 -
Morning all
Pigpen - sorry about your bunnyI hate it so much when pets die. My last cat was nearly 18 and it took me months to stop feeling guilty even though I knew she was ready to go.
Mudbath - I'll be thinking about you this afternoon.
Happy Birthday Dustykitten I hope you have a lovely day.
Grey, breezy and damn cold here today. No frost though.
Only one load of washing today! Out on the line, I don't know if it will dry but at least it's out of the way for a few hours.
I polished in the living room and vacuumed through downstairs.
I am sure cats can read minds (scary thought). I was feeling like a change round in the living room and wondering whether to move the armchair in the corner - because it never gets used. The cat got out of the chair she was sitting in and went over to the other chair and settled down! So I'll have to wait now before I try thatI've got a feeling there's a hole in the carpet under there so that may not be possible anyway. Later.
I moved a few pictures round yesterday. I haven't got anything new but it feels a bit different with them moved about in different rooms.
I'm feeling restless, I want to move things round but there isn't much scope.0 -

Dusty have a good birthday enjoy your lunch.
Pigpen aren't kids great I think us adults could learn a lot from them when dealing with death.0 -
Mudbath - sending you hugs
Pigpen - hugs for you too. Little ones are odd at times. When we told DD2 about Nanny Grans she just said "not gonna cry 'cos she is happy with poppy now" - shame we cannot keep the same reasoning really.
Dusty - Happy birthday, hope you have a fab day.
I have been busy today and sorted the littles room, cleaned the fridge and emptied the dumping basket on top of the microwave. I have also sorted the undies basket and put the ironing away from last night. Hoovered through, dusted, done one load of washing and pegged it out (although its just hanging there looking pathetic).
Meant to be taking the littles swimming again later but DD1 is having another weird strop out session. She has taken herself off to her bedroom so 5 mins peace. Am sure she will be back out flouncing around soon. Not sure if its to do with Nanny Grans or just the fact that she is stroppy. Gonna have to come up with some way of dealing with it I guess. Maybe need to restart the "smiley chart".
Beef in slow cooker for tea and smells good already.
Best go I can hear theatrical sobs coming from her room, trouble is when you try to talk to her you get nothing- are little boys easier?

Well I've cleaned my sink - which had dried paint all around the side - that took ages. I've also washed up and prepared veggies and slung them all in the SC for some soup.
Hadn't noticed the paint on the sink - it was a very similar colour to the sink and not on the side I look at IYSWIM. Next time the kids can clean it off!
Right I'm going to round up the troops and get ready to go out.
Will catch you all later
Jue
PS Shell - my DS is definitely easier than my DD who is exactly like yours - whether that will change as he gets older I don't know.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20
