I would cook them properly if I fed them to someone else...i'm not that bad! If I didn't have a doggy stomach then i'd eat them myself. Have you noticed she's not posted again. Do you think she ate them????0
-
For the record...I meant dodgy not doggy stomach!!!0
-
I was just picturing a squirrel with a doggy stomach...It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
-
Good, I can sling them then. I don't like them anyway, that's why they've been there so long!
I posted and then went and watched Home and Away. I was trying to decide what to cook tomorrow. They would be going in the oven anyway because my grill doesn't work and I don't like frying because you have to stand there and watch it too much.
I'll decide in the morning....
Good luck for tomorrow Mudbath.
Night all0 -
OK, now I'm lost!
Lurkio (a la Frankie Howerd?) are you a fella?
I said we were all mad on here. I think I'm included now. I'm not wearing a hat tomorrow!
Shell - hugs
Jjef - my Mum (God bless her) was from Dundee and my Granny. Grandad was from Edinburgh
I've done little or no flying today. All dailies done, and I did my ironing, including the new black dress, which I will be wearing with a short cream jacket with furry "stuff" around the neck. Will that do? I think (from Wikipedia) that there's now a medal involved! No, he's not done loads for the community - he just goes and plays soldiers with other peoples kids and forgets his own. Have to say he finds it hard doing so much with able kids when his own son struggles to walk to the corner shop on a good day!I've finally got the curtains for the Sunlounge and dining room arch ironed and re-hung after the dustbowl event of the weekend!
Ginger Girl - I think so. You will never get this time back, but when they are grown up, you can grab those opportunities with both hands and a clear conscience that you gave your children what they needed when they were young - their Mum!:T I have to say I never worked when they were very small, but I've always worked part time since my two started school, out of necessity and when DS became ill at the age of 10 (please don't gasp in horror:eek: at me) he didn't want me to give up work as he needed the peace and quiet. I worked 5 mins walk from the house, we had a network of good neighbours and two very protective dogs (one of whom is still with us) and he's never changed his mind about me working. If his health was any worse, we might have to re-think, but currently, he's happy at home with the dogs, does his lessons on-line every afternoon, and has his auntie 5 mins away and uncle even closer at Police HQ. I call him at least three times during the day as well.
Shell - good vibes flying that application in for you.
Mudbath - thinking of you for tomorrow. Big hugs.
Anyway, anything I didn't do today, I can catch up with on Friday, along with painting the lounge ceiling. I've had my day's leave confirmed, so I know I've got the whole day to do stuff.
Oh and I can bird watch in the attic! We seem to have sparrows nesting there! Mind you, I'd rather that than the bats our neighbour has!
Taurusgb - I'm in "Bristol" on Saturday, Nailsea actually (12 miles out) for eye test, Weston-super-mare crem with flowers for my dad's birthday, then back to Nailsea for DD's Line Dancing Show. Uni's v nice! And Bristol's a lovely city.
Solwaykid - not that I want to make you jealous, but DH was by the set for Torchwood last weekend (Caerwent - Samphire)

Its a small world when you think about it, everyone here is from far and wide yet between us we know areas and places that are familiar to many.0
