Up the tree of course Mud, the one by the front door - trees are where all good squirrels live - but please don't start burying nuts in the borders.

How am I supposed to climb a tree with one leg and my arm attached to my head? Goes off grumbling ... ouch....who threw that handcuff at me?
  • I've realised i can't help myself.

I spent an hour in the bath, but then realised it was grotty, so sprayed some cleaner round it and gave it a quick swipe, and then the sink. I was starting to bleach the bath toys, and then i remembered the last time i did it it took me ages and they still were full of mould, so my options were:
stand there for at least 30 minutes squeezing bleach water in and out of plastic toys, or just bin them, so i thought of all you lot shouting at me, and binned them. DS still has loads of non-mouldy toys that water can't get into, so what is the point? Life is far too short for that task.

I then leisurely got dressed and rubbed on my moisturiser cream, and am about to resume slobbing on the sofa.

Thanks for the comments on my list Julie - the work colleague one is debatable - he says he is going to use my interactive lesson plans i have spent hours on over the past term, and start making some for some of the up and coming topics we will be teaching, so theoretically, yes, a bit of work for me to send it but i will be sat down, and if he doesn't do it i won't be better off but if he does, then i will be, if that makes sense.

Anyway, kettle calling me, and also the claws in my back are telling me it is time to feed the cat. I don't think he will wait for DH coming in at 7 or 8 tonight, and i will get more rest just doing that one. ;)

good luck on your half ten challenge. I might do the shredding then so i can feel like i am joining in.

Last night I tackled The Corner Of Doom in the kitchen. Found homes for everything and sorted what was junk and what was not. Felt really pleased with myself till I came downstairs this morning.

And realised it had been a dream....

HHC at 10.30, I'm in, gived me time to check my emails and let the vaseline sink into my hands. (I took my nail varnish off you see)

    On a serious note!

I've unloaded the dishwasher, loaded the washing machine, unloaded the dryer, put away all dry clothes that were hanging and i'm about to walk our puppy dog!

We're going out to see an elderly relative today for lunch but will s&s all downstairs when I get back. I'm going to S&S everyday instead of the official list.

    Speak later xx

    Morning all

Stripped and remade my bed. Two loads of washing out on the line.
Dusted all bedrooms and vacuumed all through upstairs including bathroom/toilet floors and landing.
    Cleaned sink, bath and toilet.
    Vacuumed down the stairs.
    Dusted living room and vacuumed.
    Vacuumed hallway and kitchen
Disinfected sink and draining board and taps.
    Peeled spuds for dinner.

So apart from cooking and getting the washing in, that should be it until I go to work tonight and do more cleaning....

*waits for more about operation ORF*

mumofjusttwo I'm not too bad this week but I've just come through a spell of crying and hating myself. I can't offer any answers, just that for me it passes - until the next time. Sometimes it just lasts an hour or two, sometimes it's a couple of weeks.
