Evening everyone.
edited to add :rotfl: you lot are so funny - i am so glad i don't have to leave the house till tea time tomorrow so i won't miss any of it.
Feeling rather tired and achey this evening. I was having a bit of a tearful moment as i have worked my socks off all day in the best way that i can, and to me i have not done a lot. DH says i've done loads and the house looks better, but i know it is not usual standard, but as my back and knees are killing me i have to listen to them.
Although, i think the knees are from bathing charlie, the monkey was climbing on my legs and trying to bounce, and then he did me a surprise stinky nappy before bed, and then wee'd as i was changing the nappy which he hasn't done for months - requiring then full change. It's all the getting up and down, and trips up the stairs which do me in.
Anyway, that is it for me for the day - may go and get in the bath with my book after catching up again on here.
forgot to say - charlie may be ill. he had a rash all over his legs when i bathed him. It did go once he got out the bath, but i have no idea what caused it as we did nothing new. Fingers crossed for me for an easy night and getting him to nursery tomorrow. I think it may be another case of half-termitis - i.e. Mummy is at home so i am going to be really ill so she can't do anything.

hollyh see I would be thinking 'is the effort worth 10.5 points' then probably would have thought, NO!!! Actually we do love a nice walk, my son however refuses to go with my BIL who ended up dragging us through brambles, holly, nettles and over barbed wire fences the last time.
Well I've done not a lot since my last post apart from update some more of the GC list, some emails sorting and now it's bills and spendingdiary update time, bah!
Michelle listen to your body and your partner! Clean houses are worthless without a well Mummy! Now stop it and be careful!
Oh and a 'man moan' he had a poorly ankle (now better) he had manflu (now better) he now has toothache and he's driving me insane! Moody swine he's been today, had to stop him 4 times from shouting at the kids for no fluffing reason and stop him ODing several times as he's popping pain relief like sweeties. He'll maybe learn not to eat so much chocolate and drink so much fizzy pop! Then again he's ignored the last few times I've suggested it might be crippling his teeth aswell as the finances. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I really, really, really hope the red Fiat parks there tomorrow Soappie; I for one will be disappointed if the spy mission has to be aborted. The whole mental image of loads of Flyadies tiptoeing round being furtive -one in a rabbit costume (what?!) the others in shades, mystery shopper and a Brownie outfit is making me laugh and should be enough to scare the Fiat owner out of the area for some time.
No more flying today (not done much of today's list really) I'll be back to work tomorrow and have just had the promise of back issues of Smash Hits '86 - '88 to read at tea break. I have a reason to get out of bed in the morning!
I'll leave you with my favourite spy password (can't remember where it came from) 'An infant in the lap dampens the spirits'... **taps side of nose and gives an inperceptible wink**One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

It was a nice walk until the hill. (oh and the manure )0

Jeez, go on then dusty but honestly, you dress up as a rabbit and suddenly everyone wants to be your friend! :rotfl: I laughed out loud when I read your message and DH is convinced i'm on a dating website!
Galant - elves are good at this time of year you could just say you're a garden gnome.
Michelle - big hugs. There's nothing worse than doing loads and not feeling you've done much. If it makes you feel better you've done a whole load more than I have today.
Holly - the walk sounds fab minus the hill, the buggy and the aches and pains. In fact, i'd stick with the pizza next time!!!
I've found the perfect little table for my phone at ikea and it's only £8.99. Just had to clear a big box of rubbish out of the old phone table (cardboard box full of rubbish) to see if the new table would fit and it does. That counts as my hotspot clearance for the day. Yeah...I flew, I flew!
Edited to add - I don't mean I have a phone at ikea...I mean I found a table that I can buy at ikea for my phone at home. Shall I go chew on a carrot and shut up now!0 -
soappie - :rotfl: at ORF - excited it's kicking off tomorrow instead of Wednesday - I don't think I could've handled the suspense!!
hollyh - Our road is exactly the same as yours.. Train station a stones throw away, three story terraced houses opposite with driveways. I don't understand why the house builders thought the 1 and 2 bedroom maisonette's needed their own parking where as the 3 bedroom HOUSES obviously didn't need any parking at all. We get so many people parking out the front of our houses to use the train. When we re-mortgage, we are paying to have a proper driveway done.
Haven't looked at the official list yet however, Have done quite a bit of flying this evening. I had a bit of a result in the kitchen - started cleaning and couldn't stop. Gutted the whole thing, behind all appliances, etc. I was so proud I took some pictures!! I might post them tomorrow if I'm feeling brave.
Hope everyone is ok today and those of you that are off with kids for their hols - hope you haven't had too many chaotic moments.....!
Night ladies (& gents??) - see you all bright and early for the results of ORF. :TOfficial DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Back again
Love ORF and all the spy stuff - you lot are mad :rotfl:

Michelle listen to your body and your partner! Clean houses are worthless without a well Mummy! Now stop it and be careful!
must be those pesky pregnancy hormones. I will try to spend more time sat on a proper chair tomorrow rather than the dining chair, and perhaps have an afternoon snooze or a lie down with my book.
My aim is to feel less stressed and knackered after the week off, not more. Anyway - DH's solution - he's got to come up with something to distract me from looking at the house as i was less stressed last week when i was busier at work and wasn't sat looking at mess. I am sure he is right, and it is probably a school-work avoidance tactic,
Anyway, doesn't look like pigpen is posting a list this evening, so maybe i will do nothing
seriously though - i promise to try harder to look after my joints and rest. I wouldn't mind if i had done some of that hill walking and had more of a reason to be acting like a 90 year old.0
