How do I activate an Orange PAYG phone?

I bought the brilliant SPV M700 from Orange last week and they included a free Samsung C120 payg phone.

I have put the supplied sim in the C120 but it says "Limited Service". I assume it needs activating but I have received no instructions on how to do this. I have tried dialing 450 and 100 but I am immediately disconnected with the message "call ended".

Can anyone tell me what I need to do please?

I had this message on my last one:
Orange have placed a security bar on your phone whilst it is in transit. To remove the bar you will need to call 0800 0790 006 and register your phone stating that your purchase was from the Orange Shop online.
