hi there
sim cards do not expire although if not activated usually within six months of purchase then they are disconnected. depending on the network they will reconnect free of charge. the network i work for sell sims for 9.99.
hope this helps

£9.99p would be top wack. You can purchase O2 on the net at the mo for 99p,and Orange for a £1.There are so many O2 free sim cards in circulation it has brought the price right down.I would suggest £2.99 would be a reasonable price, unless you have some with golden numbers.PF.0 -
With Orange and Virgin the sim cards have to be used every 6 months.
This means make or receive a call or send a text (maybe receiving a text counts aswell - I can't remember) or you have to pay a reconnection fee (£10 with Virgin) and may lose the original number.
The Virgin PAYG was already connected - it just needed popping in a phone - so 6 months in that case.
The price depends on how much call credit is already on the sim card.
I wouldn't pay more than £5 but you could start high and drop the price if you don't have any takers.
Good luck.0
