Here ya go - Its a Free o2 Sim with 300 Free texts a month ;) http://www........
Another offer worth considering is the Virginmobile sim at http://www.forwardcellular.co.uk/en-gb/dept_21.html which costs £4.29 inc £5worth of calls. Again not free, but a lower outlay for occasional use.0 -
Whilst the above offer is literally "free", you have to put £10 on the card to use it at all.
thats not entirely correct. you can use it to receive calls without having to top it up, you can also dial the emergency services without any credit on the phone. I also read somewhere if you register the sim with o2, you get £2.50 free calling credit... can anyone verify whether or not that is true?0 -
Used a few of these, and my understanding is you top up £10 to activate things and 48 hours later you recieve your 300 texts and wap mins - take note of date you topped up, then use the texts and when done they text you to let you know but dont bank on text, in order to get your 300 free texts/wap each month you must top up £10 on or before the date you first topped up, and then use the £10 for additional texts or phone calls, ive know someone who only used the texts and ended up with £70 on her phone and as long as theres money on the phone you will still be able to use it.The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

If you don't want to bother with the £10.00 top up to get the free texts then virgin is probably your best bet.
You need to make sure your handset will take the sim.
You can get virgin sim cards for next to nothing on ebay. When new they normally come with (I think) £5.00 credit, £1 in credit the other £4 on registration, but check before you buy.
Virgin charge something like 15p per minute for the first 5 mins then 5p per minute therafter. so calls are pretty reasonable. Its better to be late in this life than early in the next one.
