I've just added a second spreadsheet written for Excel by loadsabob (Thanks loadsabob) and you can take a look at it and download it along with a set of notes by using the link in the first post of this thread.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Hi, I just tried to d/l this but it has come up as a read only file and i cant save or change anyhting........ is it something ive done wrong??
ta0 -
Hmm...
..I'll take a look...
...none of the original files on my computer are read only, nothing to say read only server side either. I downloaded the spreadsheet put a couple of numbers in and saved it with no problem.
If you find the spreadsheet using explorer you could right click on it, choose properties from the drop down context menu, and click on the "read only" check box if it is already checked.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. I didn't write the file as read-only or anything...perhaps, once you have it opened on your machine, immediately "Save as" with your chosen file name, to wherever you want it on your computer, and then try editing it? Hope that works!0

Nope still wont let me
i'm on my laptop at the min so will try later on mmy pc see if that makes a diference....thanks

That's very odd. Would anybody else reading this see if the files arrive as "Read Only" or not and let us know please?
Simba - did you try accessing the read only property directly as in my earlier post?Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
