Was worth a try though :D

Next renewal I shall still do the same, try seperate co's then compare them against a multicar policy.

    Gotta watch them pennies ;)

I have an Admiral multicar policy for my usual car and low-mileage sports car. It was cheaper when I took it out but have found the service costs to be high - £17 to put a courtesy car on risk for a day whilst my car was being serviced; premium went up 150% (more than double!) when I moved house. The new area is revealed as lower risk when looking for a new quote!

I should say that I don't know if other (non-multicar) policies would have incurred as much cost.

Have you called your current insurer and told them you have got it cheaper? I'd call them and say that unless they can either match or better the quotes you have got then you won't be renewing with them this year.

Also read your renewal as most co's now auto renew if you don't tell them otherwise.
