  • Sooo disappointed. Wish he was coming to Manchester, would have definitely gone to see him and get a book signed. :[

I went to the booksigning in Brum, he's lovely. Got a photo and my book signed, not sure that he's doing photos now because of the sheer amount of people turning up!

do you have to buy the book there,or buy it beforehand? anyone know how much it is?
and would you recommend turning up early?!

  • I got there at 10:15, and there were already hundreds there, people had been queuing since 7am. If you want a chance to meet him, go at least 2 hours before and be prepared to wait.

I had to buy the book before I could join the queue, Waterstones sold it for £15.

  • don't take anything apart from the book to be signed as he won't do it i took my autistic daughter to get my book signed and her panto prog signed he wouldn't do her prog even though i had bought the book and he really upset her the way he told her he wasn't going to sign it the photo was c##p as well the staff took it and it's only got half of his and her face in it .

It's a little harsh that you've used the fact that you have an autistic daughter to try and make John Barrowman look bad.

The fact is, they inform you that all he will do is the book. It's not his fault, it's something which has been agreed by his management. If he signed something different for one person, they'd have to do it for everybody.

    I'm not being rude

    oh yes you are.

I think you are posting our complaints in the wrong place. If you are so sad as to be so angry.....then report the posts as abuse or something and don't do a Victor Meldrew.

As ou so obviously need to be a Moderator....then appoint yourself to Martin.

And..thanks for the post here..I can't go but my friend can as he is nearer her...
    Good Luck All
