  • I'm still waiting for the response from B&Q to my letter. I tried to word my letter in a way that they couldn't just use their standard 'we made a mistake' reply, but we'll see what happens! Will update you when I get it.
  • Did the GR3 bargain of a lifetime just pass away quietly? There is a row developing with Aer Lingus right now regarding tickets to USA for £5 sold yesterday. Same sort of situation with Aer Useless claiming mis-price. Does anybody know anything more on the B&Q issue?

Watch that space though, I got my car insurance through Sheila's Wheels, and Quidco showed my £35 cashback, but the other day it got withdrawn as they said my enquiry had come from a different origin, when what actually happened was i'd used a price comparison site and clicked through to Sheila's Wheels from Quidco, not sure what order i did it in, but the cashback showed up on Quidco pretty quick and was then withdrawn 2 months later. I've raised an enquiry on it though.

That's interesting. I have just gone to sheila's wheels from esure. I also used quidco (tracking ok at the mo)
Then yesterday, I got a survey through from esure asking about how I decided to go with my present insurer. Lot's of questions about price comparisons sites and why I chose Sheila's wheels over esure (same company of course)

I wonder how this thread would have panned out if it had happened at the same time as the Dishwasher result ???

Mr Beckett, me thinks B&Q should consider employing you, and paying you a million pound a year to help with their legalities; they'd be saving a fortune :)
    I'm a nutter :j
