Good afternoon, yesterday evening i switched my heating on, it started to fire up and then died, i quickly switched it off. I have ran out of oil, my question is, when the oil is delivered on monday, can i just flick the heating back on or do i need to have the system flushed? Thanks for any advice.....

Hi
this has happened to me before too! Your boiler should have an automatic cut out so it is unlikely that you have damaged it, but with my last one we had to bleed it at the inlet on the boiler front to get rid of the air lock. Its a very easy job and takes seconds
