There's no need to buy hardware with it on Amazon.
There is one point though, if your box is old enough to run ME will it run XP, W2K would probably be ok, but XP may be a prob. I have an old IBM that was Win98 se, it wouldn't run XP but runs w2k no probsHope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

You can download XP anywhere.
But you need to buy a licence, you don't pay for the program just a licence to use it.0 -
what is the spec of the PC?
if its old enough to have ME then it may not even run XP which why i suggested win2k.
it just might have enough min spec to install XP, but IME itll be painfully slow.
