I sent off for 4 packs in the middle of August.
I used 4 different addresses but put the 4 in the same envelope.
Last Sunday I went round to my Mums and she had had the card with the 2 tops stuck on it returned to her address with a note from the Post Office stating that the envelope had ripped in one of the machines.
I have not heard from the other three addresses - but I can only assume that the envelope which was a good one stuck with sellotape had ripped and the other tops gone!
Very diappointed it took ages to find the tops - in Morrisons 'Charlie' 4 packs.
The local sweet shop has some tubes but I notice that they don't have the word smarties on the plastic top - they have the letter and everything else seems the same.
Are these counterfeit smartie tubes?

I feel your pain.
I really do.
I've almost given up. Not quite, but almost.0 -
My pound shop has loads of the blue and green ones (4 tubes £1) and local tesco has a load of pink ones, this is for anyone living in the morecambe area. Anyone who does not live anywhere near, I'll happily get you some for cost price plus postage, just pm me. I sent mine about 3 weeks ago and have not yet received any.0

Great thread!
I bought a four pack from Tesco and there was two pink and two lime-green tops!
It states GREEN as a special edition colour top - is it this limey-green or a darker green?

Whether or not you read it, I can confirm that I've got the children, it's hard not to notice them as I'm continually trying to stem the flow of blood from my ears. :rotfl:
I'll trawl the cornershops as you suggest and see what I can come up with.
Thanks again.

The lime green lids are fine. I have used them and have had no problems.0
