Get paid £25.00 for a 12 month mobile contract & Sony k300i
Hi, Hope this hasnt already been covered elsewhere on the forum, ive checked back on threads and cant see it mentioned. Ive taken quite a bit of info off of moneysavingexpert.com so far and thought ide give a little back. I think this is the best possible deal on a mobile available - if not let me know cos im about to go for it myself!
Right for those of you who dont know onestopphoneshop.co.uk, on that site at the moment you can get a free sony k300i on orange with a free 12 month contract on the relax 100 plan - the links below. You also get £10.00 cashback for taking the contract.
http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/ourdeals.php?CNO=1&PROV=OR&TAR=OVPR100&OFF=K300I
So, so far we have got a free k300i phone, a free contract with 100 minutes a month to any network, 100 texts for the first 3 months, free insurance for 3 months, free delivery and £10.00 cash in your pocket.......
Now before going for that, signup to https://www.quidco.co.uk. If you then click their link to the onstopphoneshop.co.uk and take out that contract, onestopphoneshop.co.uk pay quidco £15.00 for sending them your business and quidco give you that £15.00 back.
So now you have all of the above free, £10 cash and an extra £15 cash, plus you could sell the phone on ebay at £69.99 and use your existing phone for the contract. Mad. If it was possible to take out 1000's of contracts you could get rich by doing this!!
Any better deals than this available? I know 3 offer more minutes, but you could take on 4 of these phones for instance and have 400 minutes & £100 and it would be on the orange network instead.

Cheers for that, im not a big fan of the motorola phone in that package but to get the 100 texts free is probably worth it overall. i was going to add the £4.00/mnth for 60 texts package onto the k300i deal and maybe i still will... have to try and make my mind up. So far i gotta say that the deal youve come up with is slightly better :T , any others anyone?0

Hi The V20 Motorola sounds a very good deal. Is there any catch?. I don't use my phone very much so I don't think I would go over the free minutes. At the moment I'm on PAYGo but I could do with a new mobile. How to they expect to make any money from this deal? I can't see any where that you are locked in after the 12 months, so are they presumming you will just forget to cancel? Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to all this and it just sound to good to be true. Thanks for the helpLook after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0

I reckon to be receiving over £100 (more if you use Quidco etc) for a 12 month contract from the same supplier. K750i on Orange OVP Relax 100. Total cost after cashback = £96. Have taken out 2 contracts and sold each phone on Ebay for over £200 after fees. They also throw in a free cigarette lighter adapter which can be sold for £10. Plus all the bonusses for ordering online. Then you get 100 xnet mins per month and 100 free texts per month for 3 months.0

a call to a mobile phone costs the mobile networks about 2.5p/min and they charge 20p/min daytime, 10p/min night. A text costs them 1p. Going by averages they know that most people will go over their free minutes and use more texts and minutes - even with all the stuff they give away they will make lots of money. So-longs as you are money consious as you obviously are by being on this site then you cant lose. They basically rely, like you say on you being complaceant. Places such as the link get a large kickback for getting you to go on a contract they use this to pay for rent, staff etc. internet companys though dont have the this problem and it has got that competative online that a lot are now giving you nearly all of that kickback back to the customer to make maybe just £10.00 for the year.
Remember also that you DO have to pay the monthly contract fee. BUT after 4 months you send off your 4 bills and claim those 4 x £30.00's back. Then after the next 4 months you send off your bills again and get your next 4 x £30.00's back. A lot of people will forget to do this and so on average again, they make money. But if you pay your £30.00 contract and dont go over your free minutes quota, send off your bills for the cashback then by the end of the year you will have paid nothing, have a free phone and they have given you £25.00 in the first place. It may sound crazy, but it does make sense.
Take credit cards. Nearly all credit card companys give you a free card (which costs them) They give you 0.0% for a year on all balance transfers. They pay staff to deal with you and they lose money. HOWEVER out of 100 people maybe 50 will keep the card and use it after the 0% period, or they will make extra purchases that you never thought you would make. The 50 people who start to make purchases and keep the card will pay for the 50 that used the card to pay a loan at 0% APR and then destroy the card or take the time to switch to another.
By being sensible you will make money to use a free phone for a year without a single catch! And i agree with you, im probrably going with the motorola deal0 -
Ta for that joto, have gone for the k750i deal but im gonna keep the phone instead of sell it. How long does it usually take to come do you know?0

which deal is the best for the SE k750i?
I have a S700i but its on £25 per month and I want to get rid of it0 -
The deal joto has given out details of cant be beaten in my opinion. K750i free, Orange OVP100 contract - 100 minutes a month and say £4-5 quid for a text package. You will end up paying £96 for that contract for the year after you have recieved your cashback.
And if you do it through quidco youll get and extra £150 -
cant see the deal for the Orange k750 anyone have a link?0

I was lovely being thanked for my advice but I think it is Woohooman and Heather and tom we need to thank. I was only asking a question . They put the detais up regarding these deals. Thanks anywayLook after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0
