That's what I mean about skin chemistry, perfumes smell different on different people, although a couple of hours later that's not the over-riding smell, it's actually really lovely - think I'll get some.

I feel a trip to Boots coming on:D any excuse eh!

just tried and cant make it work on lipstick, working on perfume though.
Just on way out to boots to try and get some boots goodies.

Some people did much better than me and snapped up the basics range! Unfortunately it was mostly sold out- I got half price Imperial Leather instead.
Boots linked the sale of certain bathing products so you got the Palmolive Cashmere SG free- worth 2.19 each. The promo appears to have finished with the products I bought, but some say it is still running (heard rumours it still works with Soap and Glory gift sets, not checked though!)
I quite like this spend/save strategy I have!

I have been sent another parenting club book of vouchers. One of which is £5 off total effects moisturiser, I could do with one and at the moment they are £5 off already in store..however it says on the back not to be used with any other offer, does anyone know if these go through or will I get the dreaded till beep.

Oh yes, so they were, thanks, they started off at 99p.
Still no good for what I wanted them for, but I'll probably keep them now, they are ok to keep in the car for sticky hands etc I suppose.

Tried a different Boots today. I had to go to Mothercare in Stevenage so thought I'd pop into the Boots there. Not as good as London Colney though.

Did my 'usual' transaction of;

No7 base foundation £9.75
Illuminating powder £10.25
Free GWP

Used £5 pink voucher and the free illuminating powder. Paid £4.74.
SA didn't bat an eyelid (she was reading a magazine whilst serving!):eek:

No P&P sets here either and there was no one to ask if there were any in the stock room. Don't think the Stevenage store is worth a visit.

Boo Hoo, I had 2 Royal Jelly handwashes that I paid for, 4 other handwashes, 6 packs of the carex wipes and a fizz bomb thingy, got 2 free royal jelly handwashes (BOGOF), 15 shower gels, but only got 5 x 75p coupons (LOL), I think they just pick a few up and put them in the box.
I am not going to spend mine on shower gels, got more than enough to last me....I don't like showers!!...will use it in the bath. I will see if I can use mine at Asda, you don't usually have to buy the things there to get the money off.

:eek: I need a rest so I'm plonking myself down in this thread. I've just contacted CS about my outstanding points from December 2004 to December 2007! :eek: I'd hate to be the CS person that looks into it lol.
