i see the palmolive offer has finiished, I didn't order in the end as no one posted whether or not the shower gels were full sized or samples. I also had my order swiped out of my basket this morning but i did order the my little pony set for my niece would have liked one of those elle boxes!

I managed to get both Elle sets earlier in the sale, the ones thats on today isnt actually as nice as the cheaper one. It had also leaked inside so glad it wasnt for a gift or I wouldnt have known.

Hi there, haven't been on here in ages - looks like loads happening! I haven't had time to look through the thread yet so was hoping someone could help? Can you combine the vitamins 342 with the free eyeQ (£15 vitamin spend) and the 1/2 price health club for boots vitamins. If so at what stage do tills read the £15?

I read this before I dashed out (to Boots obviously lol), and it got me thinking about this "rush" on Gucci - excuse the deliberate pun I'll be honest, I love designer perfumes, but I've completely bypassed Gucci for some reason.

Yourself, and a few others, should be getting discounts or bonus points at Boots As for the P&P sets .... you should be on staff discounts and BOGOF for them lol. I thought it was a pretty gift when I thought the newly packaged beauty serum was the body serum. So it was a real bonus finding out it wasn't - and bought two lol. (I still think the stores will have plenty of these in stock by the weekend btw). I can understand how they've sold out.

You only have to see how many people view the threads, then tell friends etc, to realise how the stampede began. (I blame you for the shortage LOL - and for me spending more than I should, but on a decently priced bargain gift, for a change ).

Before the sales started, I'd skimmed over the Boots threads - I thought you were all crazy peeps rofl :rotfl: I'd even tell my OH about you all and I think he thought you were all a bit nuts too lol. But if I'd have only read these threads a bit earlier, I'd have been quids in. I bought 3 sets of Dior Addict 2 - at full price. Imagine the savings if I'd done as I've done this year and bought 3 more, albeit smaller versions, for 1/3 off and points on top! Then there's also Quidco to be taken into account, and it's all thanks to these posts and posters.

Now, I'm like a demented woman rushing around Boots for all these bonus points (with the help of my sister - who thought she was Boots savvy until I mentioned a few of the recent posts lol, and my oh, who, all of a sudden, LOVES Boots :rolleyes: ) and it's all you Bootsers faults

But possibly the biggest lesson I've learned is that when someone spots a good bargain (not necessarily a glitch) is to wait. Because the bargain gets posted, everyone wants one lol, but a few posts later there'll be someone reminding us about Quidco, or that if you buy two you'll get one free, and so it goes on ..... and on ..... and on lol. A bit like the Palmolive stampede last night. But if you wait too long and it's gone, then it wasn't meant to be and it's not as if it's a life or death situation (although I worry about those early risers and how their sleeping habits have been affected ).

Look at me now!! Writing long posts about nothing nor something, when I should be reading more posts, or my receipts from today's Boots shopping

I'm off to look at my points total and see how it was achieved. If I found a bargain, (doubtful lol) I'll post it up later, but just wanted to say once again, a big thanks to you, and everyone else on here. It's a really close community imho x Thanks for the post

(If the recent online order goes through, does anyone know of a cheap storage unit for the mountain of sponges I ordered with the free Palmolive, please? ) Colours c/o jamtart lol.

I dont get to the store more than a couple of times a year so dont get many glitches as most of my boots shopping is online.

From reading this thread i've bought tons in the sale from learning to get up early for the sale - only bought what I needed and a some extra to donate to the school fair at xmas (they do a "secrets" room where the kids can buy a pressie and have it wrapped for mum and dad for xmas but the gifts needed some updating lol, sadly I only managed to get 1 male set but better than nothing).

I did get a No7 powder as the mag was in an online order but just the one as I didnt like any of the other colours and didnt get the GWP as wasnt keen on it.

However, i've also bought perfume and a big batch of the Soap and Glory products from reading here too - thats money that Boots wouldnt have had as would not have tried them without recommendation.

The thread is great, you can take what you want from it, be you a hardcore Boots fan or somebody that likes a bargain or ideas.

Not sure if the post was missed yesterday, easily done I know but I called the Glos Boots store & they do have P+P giftsets only they are not on display due to Valentines being promoted instore.
If you don't see them ASK a SA as your store may too be like mine & retaining them until valentines has passed but the stock is there as she said 'Oh the set on the round box...yes we have them, just ask & we'll collect one from the storeroom for you'.

I rang CS just now and was told that Boots.com is a separate company to Boots when it comes to trading and the offers on there are often different to the ones in the shops.
I was advised to take it back with the receipt to one of the shops and then order it from .com. The CS advisor did offer to order it for me. Might wait and see if it comes down in the shops first, can't be bothered to wait around for the delivery arriving, need to go to work. The CS advisor did offer to order it for me.
I wonder if all the perfume gift sets will come down in price after Valentine's Day or Mothering Sunday, does anybody know if they usually do? The CS said that you can take things back with the receipt no matter how long you have had them. Mind you, I took the Chanel back both times without a receipt anyway, can't do it without a receipt though if the price has reduced as you would only get the reduced price back.

What kind of smell is "Insolence" - set is now £13.50 on Boots so a good buy if its a nice perfume.

I'm waiting for mine to come today (Palmolive) it was showing on the order to come. Too late to answer your question I know, sorry.
