Absolutely. The GWP is dependant on your spending £20 which is the price of the giftset. Vouchers are classed as cash in the still ( I believe ) so it ought NOT to be £20 AFTER handing over vouchers though some have encountered this. Give it a go cos all they can say is NO & you'll say OK I'll go away & think about it OR it'll come off & you'll go back for more...hook, line & sinker.

I wonder whether the fact that the tills now take the value off the items has some effect on it acceptance. The £1 off £5 spend on the no 17 the other day netted the 2 packs of wipes down to £2.49 each making the total under £5 to try and use a points voucher and the gwp. I think this is another way to ensure if you do return something that they don't give you the full price back when you had £1 off. The points on a total spend definately look at net figures now making it very hard to work out how much to spend.
  • What time did .com update today?? Wasnt anything new when i left for work but now had alook and there was more but all sold out:confused:

Hiya pinkytots and all and what a great lecture lol. You're not a Gemini are you? ;)

    No, but my dh is

I'd never have even thought of it if it hadn't have been mentioned on here. The same goes for Insolence (which often gets a plug!) So I've already spent about £60+ in my head - all down to these Boots threads :)

You see, this is how it goes, now I want to try Insolence and the new Gucci as I haven't smelt either, but they both seem popular ker-ching for Boots as we all know we're not buying it anywhere else

Look at me now!! Writing long posts about nothing nor something, when I should be reading more posts, or my receipts from today's Boots shopping ;)

What are we like, I felt like I was on me soap box before:eek:

I'm off to look at my points total and see how it was achieved. If I found a bargain, (doubtful lol) I'll post it up later, but just wanted to say once again, a big thanks to you, and everyone else on here. It's a really close community imho :) x Thanks for the post :)

Thank you, and as you say, it's a real good community on here, btw how's the no chat thread doing???

(If the recent online order goes through, does anyone know of a cheap storage unit for the mountain of sponges I ordered with the free Palmolive, please? ;) ) Colours c/o jamtart lol.

I'd offer, but my house is full of highlights and gwp and about to be swamped by palmolive too:o

i'm pretty sure mine was just for free wipes no other item required - can't check now though as SA did put them through for me (so can't think she would have missed it as well?). i'm just looking at the other vouchers (I've thrown the booklet bit away - trying to be organised with my paper recyling) - they're valid until 31/10/08 if that helps? one of the vouchers is for BOGOF on the mediterranean pregnancy range so could this mean the vouchers are the pregnancy ones?

thanks for your help (i will press the button)

  • Went into a small boots today and the no7 Awakening eye gel and the Intelligent Balance night fluid were half price bring them both under a fiver each, so used two of my pink coupons and got them both free (separate transactions). Went to a larger one later and they were both full price.

If you've got the pink coupons and don't really need anything it's a good way of trying something new for free, if they're half price at your local.

You are right! I didn't read the bottom - neither did the SA - oh well - didn't maximise on eveything - but still well happy with my bargains (added to my free mini eggs from woolworths and yesterday's bargain at Debs - a superking all seasons duvet for £31.50).
thanks again for the help - I just didn't read all of the coupon - which is very unlike me - was too excited in the moment!!!!
