  • Morning Gina :)

I know how you are feeling i really do. Our BR will come about pretty much because of me ( about 80% ) and i felt like you for a long time.

But there really is no point in living your life under the spell of " what if's " and " maybe's " i decided ( and it wasn't easy ) to adopt a light hearted attitude because life is simply to short.

    Things will get better.

    Good luck.

:o i cant see someone being quite so considerate when , cypruss tenerife ibiza spain skegness borth st ives paignton ect are involved --dont get me wrong the kids and us have enjoyed the pleasure now is the pain this isnt the whole story but i cant help feeling that the o.r. will have something to say about it!! i myself have been suffering from deppression/anxiety because i have been trying to deal with it --to protect my hubby he works hard -he shouldnt have the worry but he knows now --hey what a relief. i find great strength from this forum cos for whatever reason we've all been or going there many thanks to all of you much love and respect gina

    Hi Gina,

If you went to Skegness for a holiday the only comment I can see the O.R making is "why didn't you extend the limit on your credit card and go somewhere decent"? :D Only joking if anybody's reading this who lives in Skeggy.

On a more serious note, I don't think your credit card spending will be much different from anybody elses. Our O.R had a field day going through our credit card statements, and asked a few questions, and we supplied some creative answers, and that was about it; nothing more to be said.

When you factor into the equation your depression / anxiety I don;t think you've got anything to worry about from the O.R.

    Regards

    Richard
  • Doesn't sound like you've done anything to warrant the OR giving you a hard time Gina.

I however fully expect to be at least birched when we go to court.:D

I was rather hoping it would be just a quick caning from a stern madam in a basque and high heels,:o :D but it was a tubbly little guy with b.o. and a lot of time on his hands.

  • the best fish and chips ive had were in skeggy, not on the sea front, hang on, ill look on google earth for the place....

roman bank, heading towards butlins but before any of the caravan sites, on the left, little carpark, used to park the truck outside (sod the traffic)

can taste em now......plenty of S+V though

any seaside job means a run up the front, even if its a de-tour....
Now we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...

  • Hi Gina

Just wanted to add a quick post to say that even though I am waiting for the OR to call and have been wetting myself every time the phone goes:eek: , I now think that whatever is going to happen was already mapped out for me anyway. So its just a case of going along with the ride and resisting as little as possible. I have no doubt in my mind that he will raise a few eyebrows and will probably tell me off. But then again - I spent it and dont expect to get away with a well done and a pat on the back. So Im braced and ready and armed with an army of lovely supportive people on here.:T

My house was beautiful - it was a show home and the interior by Vogue Interiors. I loved it and it was my pride and joy next to my kids. I now live in a smaller house from the council and its only temporary accomodation but its amazing the amount of people that have said they prefer this because its more of a family home, Ive let go a bit and it looks like a woman, 3 kids and a dog live here rather than all spick and span all the time:rolleyes: . What im trying to say is that through it all Ive already learnt a valuable lesson that bricks and motar are just that. Its the people inside that make the home, and you sound lovely so I bet your home will be lovely wherever it is!!:D

    big hug

    NME
