by the way, nose update: its healing exceptionally fast. my only concern now is (seriously) that tomorrow morning my boss wont believe it happened, as all that can be seen is a scratch (though its still swollen and hurts like hell)Total debt £3625.07.

Hope you are feeling a bit better today. My sister did something similar a few years back. She hit the ground teeth first.............
As someone who has suffered from nose bleeds for years (weak blood vessel in the nose), if it bleeds again, keep your head down, use ice in a cloth or a cold wet flannel to cool the area and slow the blood flow. Do NOT put your head back - even though people do that, you shouldn't do it.
Don't blow your nose after it has stopped, however tempting it is. Drink some cool drinks and take it easy for a bit. They can be scary - I've had some corkers over the years, but they are rarely dangerous."Stay Wonky":D

No, don't tilt the head back - the blood goes down the throat which, although it probably won't hurt you, tastes bloody awful and could (in an extreme situation) cause choking.

Nose is healing hysterically fast. I simply cant believe this. Hurts less every MINUTE! Even thoug I didnt do anything to it. whats going on? Not that I am not happy about it.
Ps: rode to work and back today. Quite pleased with myself as had to cycle up the hill on way back. soon I say goodybe to bum &tum.time to join IAs challenge?
