For when this gets moved over to the Meatball thread - I think Ikea ones are marvellously tasty and great value. You can buy a huge frozen bag of them... Can't remember the price though! Argh! They're good value to me though as I can't make meatballs!!

Another vote for Ikea meatballs, it's £3 odd for a bag of 60, I normally keep some in the bottom of the freezer for chucking into pasta sauce when I'm being lazy.

I like Ikea meatballs too. I occasionally throw them into a bowl and heat in the microwave. Serve with oven chips and baked beans.

    Hi
Sorry no, and it's at the bottom of the bin now! They are large, 3 each with the veggies, sauce etc did OK for the 4 of us.

The Ikea ones sound good, only problem we are about 100 + miles from the nearest one!!

    Thank you

    Hi guys,

I got some meat balls out of the freezer for tea tonight, but I am bored of the typicall spaghetti with meat balls..

Anyone has any interesting recipe what to do with them instead?

    Thank you
  • I sometimes use meatballs as an alternative to sausages in toad in the hole. I also add some mixed herbs to the batter mix.
I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.

Serve with onion gravy and mash?
Make them a bit smaller and have in a pasta bake?
