I just have trouble getting the paddle out afterwards, takes a bit of tugging!
I used to worry about this, but now just leave it stuck in my panny, seems to make no differance, and I guess any bugs are killed by cooking next loaf, penicillin anyone?Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I got a panny on offer in Tesco about 8 weeks ago, haven't bought bread since - makes lovely bread and 9 times out of 10 the paddle remains in the pan when the loaf comes out0

I got a panasonic as a wedding present and it's great, never had it stuck in the tin and the paddle has only stayed in the loaf once. Having read lots of articles of what goes into shop bought bread I was delighted to get this as a present and won't ever go back to shop bought! I love knowing what's in my bread and great fun experimenting with different recipes!0

I have the panny and find that if you leave it in the tin for about 10 minutes, then the sides of the bread seem to shrink away and it comes out easier than if you try to remove it the moment the programme finishes.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I:
Lightly oiled the paddles
Used less water
Waited 10 minutes after it had finished
Twidlled the paddles from the outside of the tin
And - hey presto - one whole loaf of bread fell out of the tin. I am so chuffed - I also won a quiz on Pigsback this morning - the sun is shining and I have a feeling I am going to have a very good day!0
