Samsung E800 Help Wanted

I am in the process of buying a Samsung E800 on o2 network, I wanted to know if the phone is locked to o2 and if I wanted to use it say on vodafone or orange would I need to unlock it?

i dont know of any codes for these
so you need to get it unlocked at shop or get an unlocking cable and free s/w (or you can buy an unlocking clip and do it yourself - about £20)

I don't know how easy they are to unlock but Woolworths are selling them for £89.99 on their website (on O2)

if it's on contract it'll be unlocked. PAYG are usually locked.
