Motorola V3 on Orange 10 months @ 1.99 per month

  • I actually ordered through their call centre - I needed to port my number and the website (perhaps incorrectly) said I can't do this other than by phone.

The chap at the call centre confirmed it is a 12 month contract - I should get my phone tomorrow or Tuesday, so will post back here if it is in fact 24 months (and complain / return the unit to Carphone Warehouse)

I got the phone and plan by asking dialaphone to price match osps plan. They agreed and i got my phone. This works out great as you then you get the additional £40 for ordering via dialaphone.com/thework making the phone practically free.
  • How do you get the additional £40 from Dialaphone?

by ordering thru dialaphone.com/theworks. search the site plenty of info available on it but sometimes you get the £40 and sometimes you dont. theoretically it is available for people who are part of the affinity scheme thru their work.

£200 cashback, equal to £4.99 for 8 months, this is a 12 month contract.

    V3 silver or V3 Black.

I have been shopping for a Motorola V3 in Black and have found that some of the deals which offer 'cashback' dont actually give you cash, just credit your airtime account with minutes. This is a particular problem on the dial-a-phone site!

    Guys, Hope this helps,

Ordered two from CPW. The email said silver so I called and asked them to change to black. They put the order through as it had not progressed (CPW are a nightmare online) they then told me I could only have one (think that was Orange who would not let me have two agreements) so I agreed to go ahead.

It arrived today in black with no Orange logo, popped my Voda sim in and it appears to be sim free...

    Regards Tony

Even credits on your account are good as no direct debit is taken until the credit is used.

so a "air time credit" of £50 would be on your account and if your current bill is £30, then £20 would carry over to the next bill.

If i was actually given the cash i would drink it away or buy some silly gadget that i didn't need lol, this way, i can't touch it unles i ask for a check.

It's nice to forget about it and then realise why a direct debit wasn't taken, and it's nicer to know it wasn't a mistake, it was just the credit you had.

I like it anyway, but each to their own.
