2g or 3g questions Nokia 6680?

I have a dilema and looking for some advice is possible please, i have 2 contracts coming to an end in the next 6 weeks so looking around to see whats available and best price/plan, i was looking at the nokia n90 but recentley found out it will have no vibration alert which is kinda daft but rules that one out for me as my phone is in pocket most of the time, so im looking at other nokias as motos i had both been faulty on many occasions and samsung i dont like vibrate and ring hence going nokia and it has to have mp3 ringers and bluetooth. So far been looking at both 6680 and 6681 the later not readily available so 6680. I called orange up to find out what kind of cost i would be looking at on a 500 mins tariff and got quoted £200 ish as i hadnt completed 12 months ok im coming into 12th month so that ones getting cancelled, my other is vodafone which ive had for 2 years and upgraded last september, gave them a call and they could match tariff (500 mins 100 texts £30) but wanted £100 for the phone but carphone warehouse are offering same phone and tariff with 6 months at £4.99 but on the 3 network which i have no experience of i heard its in comparison with 02 which doesnt have a good reception where i am and also i know 02 dont do the delivery reports - can anyone clarify? Also if vodafone match the tariff with the 6680 will it be on the 2g netork or 3g? and if 2g will the mins rollover as ive read on some sites that some 3 tariffs the mins rollover for 1 month.

I have looked at other phones and have ruled out moto - not had much luck, sony ericsson the k700i only kept for 3 months, and a few nokias that are coming out but probably not till end of year when my other contract is up so i could get them the ie the nokia 6270.


So if anyone could put there 2p worth in i would be most gratefull as hopefully it will help make my mind up and do the right thing rather than acting on impulse which i normally do and end up buying the wrong thing.
