o2 sim card and nokia7600

:confused: does anyone know how to get the mms to work on a nokia7600 i have received the settings for my payg o2 simcard been on gprs free texts work fine but just cant send or receive mms when i create one it automatically saves in the outbox so when i try send it from there it tries but then fails:confused: any ideas anyone been onto o2 they sent the settings so i could put in manually but they were just the same as what was in,also because i have tried a few times getting the settings from o2 the settings list is now full and wont accept anymore

    isnt it something to do with the unlocking of it? was the phone on 3 network originally? we had the same problem when we unlocked one via code only.

    thanks for that moonie i wouldn have a clue! i got the phone after it had been unlocked but yes it was apparently on '3' hmm even though that phone is used as a spare as i have a d500 (on orange) i will prob get rid of if i cant use it properly on o2

    if its been unlocked properly it should have this option in the menu
    Settings->Phone Settings->Network Mode
    then you can pick between gsm (orange etc) or dual (3pay)
    if you havent got these options then it needs reseting by cable.
    the usual problem without having this done is signal dropping.
    it does sound like you havent got the correct settings on your phone

    so will i haveto get it reset with a cable before i can get the new settings

    not sure but the menu reset stops signal dropping, if you dont get this problem then you may be ok.
    try the settings from the nokia link, it wont do any harm and its free
