Pudding, your friend could buy the things she wants now full price then you could order the stuff for your friend anyway (if it is still in stock that is!) at sale price and as long as she keeps the receipt / delivery note with the full price on it and she returns the items within 28 days she could take the new unused items that come from the sale stock back and get a refund at full price.
It's a long way round doing it but a least she will get the items eventually at sale price.

If you buy sale stuff in store in Next it usually has red marker pen on label so you can't get a full price refund, I usually found they have drawn on my bargains also!

I think Pudding is going to order the items online in her VIP slot.
I don't know if it is the same for everyone but everything I have ever ordered online in the sale has come delivered in its original packaging with nothing to say it was a sale item.
I returned a suit in the winter sale that I had bought for my husband 2 weeks before the sale started I managed to get it in the sale half price so when the new suit came I took it back my local next and they refunded the full price because I had my original receipt.
Don't know if it will work on everything but it has got to be worth a go because even if it does arrive marked as a sale item you can still send it back free of charge.

My friend got all her items half price last night when she phoned to place an order...None of the items were full price...She didn't even know it was the next sale this saturday.She got lucky get her order half price.I have just checked the sale list again and I was up till past midnight looking for things..Guess what nothing is left what I have wrote down ha ha..I don't think I will be taking that call from Next at 11.....

I couldn't log on last night and phoned customer services. They were quite strict with me and I had to send my VIP invite to prove that I received one. They rang back within 15 mins and most of the stuff was in stock. it was much quicker over the phone. I ended up spending £1000. Oh dear.

Could you not order the items for her on your VIP slot? That's what NEXT suggested to me- when I tried to blag a slot....

Items for the directory are never marked with the red spot I can confirm. Been buying in the sale for years from them and up til now they have never done it.

I managed to get a few bargains this morning during my hour time slot but it made me checkout when I got to 50 item! lol

Does anyone know if sofas are put in the sale? I notice that some ranges from X35 aren't in X36 but don't appear in the sale leaflets.

I had a vip slot allocated this morning for the next sale, but it would not accept my password and let me enter the site. I phoned the help line and the lady was really nice. She did not ask me any password details etc. but just took my order over the phone. She said to phone back later if I wanted to order anything else and they would add it to the existing order with charging extra delivery, which I have just done. Basically if you have not got a VIP slot and want to order, I would defintely give it a try, because they do not seem to be checking any details etc. today.
