I agree re:vip invites / using others passwords and i hope that no-one thought i was trying to "get ahead" of the sales. I was simply enquiring whether or not they would have maternity items in the sale online as i have never used their online service when they have a sale on.

A little bit of info regarding whether or not maternity clothes would be online was all i was enquiring about. I am certainly not wishing to buy them before the sale starts and if anyone thought that my posts were wanting that then they have certainly been misread.

Thought I would try being brazen and just ring them to ask for a VIP invite....nope!! They weren't budging! It is a random process and is quite literally luck of the draw, the adviser told me it didn't matter how much you spent- or didn't spend over the year. It wasn't relevant...so we are all in with a chance. I agree with the other comments. If you are lucky enough to get a password, it should be kept to yourselves. We will all bag a bargain, I am sure!!

Yes you can , but site can get busy on the Sat, I'm hoping it isn't too bad for the VIPers in the time slots but wouldn't be surprised if it's just as bad, as hundreds of people have the same slots

Bit of a long shot here but I don't suppose anyone took note of the phone number that Next rang you from. I've had loads of calls over the last few days from an 08000 number but I've never been in to answer them. I'm hoping it's Next.

That's only for invited guests though - I tried to submit my account number but they weren't having any of it.

I got a phone call from Next this evening inviting me to make a VIP phone order on Thursday. The number came up as withheld on my caller display. Hope you get lucky though!
