Cashback query but with O2

I have a cashback contract but have had no problems at all over the last year until now. I am due to send in my final bill. Despite numerous calls to O2, I still do not have a bill despite them claiming bto have sent duplicates and my time for claiming is tomorrow. Do I have any comeback from O2 as this has cost me £50. luckily this was my last claim otherwise I could have lost out a lot more money.

How can you blame o2 for the postal service?

Tell your cashback company the problem and that you will send the required documents when you have them.
  • I am not convinced that they have sent them. We are both with O2 and have been for a while and I cant believe that Royal Mail have only lost the bill and duplicates that we have been waiting for and nothing else. Every other bill has turned up on time. Could I then contact Royal Mail as it is me that is out of pocket here The mobile phone comapany are very clear that the claim must be received within 30 days. Any advice would help.

You have no claim on o2 or RM.

Tell your cashback company the problem and that you will send the required documents when you have them.

and how do we know it is the postal services problem?

The OP has said he/she hasn't received the original bill nor the duplicate so to me that sounds highly unlikely its a postal problem, more of an O2 problem possibly.

What do you think will be o2's answer to your suggestion?

And what reason would they have for pretending to post out bills to their customers?
  • O2 have replied to my email saying that the will refund my cash back.
