Thanks for the links, I couldn't find some of those things earlier, shame the vase I want hasn't been reduced further so haven't brought it yet.

    I brought:

3 x Iceweight Ball Candleholder (Product code: T272258) (£2, £1.75, £1.75) I paid £1.75 for two because there was a tiny flaw for those and none perfect ones left)

Home sweet home keying @ £0.50 (originally £1.75, then £1)
Purple Ronnie ‘Birthday poem for a groovy mum’ birthday card @ £0.50 (originally £2.75, then £1)
Ultimate Delia DVD parts 1&2 @ £2 (originally £15, then reduced again, then £5)
Ultimate Delia DVD parts 3&4 @ £2 (originally £15, then reduced again, then £5)
1 sheet (rolled up) of ‘glitter’ wrapping paper 480 x 700mm (yellow with light green check and hint of glitter) @ £0.50 (originally £2, then £1)
Per Una short sleeve pink top @ £9 (originally £23, then £15)
    1 pair of black diamond tights 15 denier @ £1 (originally £6, then £3, then £2)
1 pair of black socks from the ‘Spoilt for Choice’ range @ £1(originally £3, then £1.50)
1 off white satin camisole from the Autograph collection @ £8 as there was a tiny nick on it (originally £29, actually priced at £9) I also got to keep the wooden hanger.

I spent £30 in total which wasn’t bad considering if I had paid the full original price for everything it would have worked out to be £112.50!!!!!!

    Hi Kazzy,

How do you know there is a second phase in August? What sort of stuff is going to be in it - do you know? I am after some furniture - so have my fingers crossed!

after a disappointing look on-line at the further reductions (womenswear not even there) i decided i would up sticks and go the laregest branch in london. marble arch, i was gobsmacked, all they had was a couple of rails in the corner of each floor. some had prices further reduced stickers, some didnt. managed to pick up a few bits on each floor. more from a senseofnot wanting to come home empty handed. when i got to the front of the queue i asked the sales assistant what had happened to the sale. at this branch 2 weeks ago there was very little at full price. she said she had no idea. she knew that what they had out was the most in any of the london stores but said their stock rooms were so stuffed with stuff you could barely move. it had all been moved there couple of days after sale had started. she and other staff had approached management to ask why it was not put out and they would not divulge. loads of people were complaining and you could see she was pretty fed up. all i can think is that they are being all held back for the second phase of the sale that was mentioned on here. unfortunately that will be too late for me as i will have returned from holiday by then!!! just thought i would share my findings with the rest of you that are puzzled?
  • noticed that the couple of lamps they still have in their sale have been reduced a little bit more. the metal lamp is now £9-odd
