Weyres - A&L are run by MBNA and all their cards (apart from Virgin) seem to be pushing this 2% t&c at the moment - I received a letter changing my terms from may to will charge 2%. Please let us know how you get on (or if others know if they sometimes do not charge the 2%) - does it depend on who you talk to?

All my SBT money (that is from 3 cards) is sitting in ING waiting for the interest to be spent at Christmas!
  • Me ............. I'm putting the 'Stoozed' dosh against my One Account mortgage;) , keping the monthly repayments the same, therefore repaying me mortgage sooner rather than later.
It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!

    You did what...??

It's not your cash so you'd better pray that the Glazer bid is successful, otherwise the shares will drop by 10% and you'll be left with £2,500 to find.

The point is I have not done this to make money or sell the shares at a profit.

It is my duty and that of every true supporter to do everything and anything possible to stop the bearded american idiot !

The stupidty of CCard Companies chasing new customers has allowed me to do my bit for the cause !

It might be your "duty", but it's hardly moneysaving, is it? What are your plans if the share price does fall??

We now have a 0% interest mortgage :rotfl: Wish I'd done this from the start but better late than never... :D

Great thread! Really enjoyed reading through this:T

I'm planning to spend my stooze interest on my garden, then I can enjoy it every day (putting in a deck and patio, lights, barbecue and then lots of parties!)
If it was easy, everyone would do it!
