Going back to the OPing, my finacially savvy side of my brain intends to leave it in the 5% gross account compounding the interest; whilst my wild and recless side is imploring me to go out and buy the best bones I can find, sit on a deserted beach in the Maldives for two weeks every year..... hummmm...... decisions, decisions :-)
Btw, started this about 6 odd months ago and hit a bit of a brick wall after getting about £34k stoozed (mainly from Cahoot int free loan, Egg, and MBNA) have now settled back to about £24k and am waiting to transfer Egg to CapOne 18mnths 0%; will then look to BT the MBNA before starting to add to the stooze pot again, as by then I would have 8 months on-time monthly repayments, would have repayed Cahoot, Egg and MBNA so hopefully they will be more than happy to offer me more debt :-)

Btw, any views on asking Egg / MBNA (after repayed) to repeat the offer? Any successes out there doing this?Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

I intend to find this out in about June.
Clearly the best chance of achieving this is if you actually pay the card off first. There seems no reason to stay with MBNA if they won't play - no cashback cards, and even if you get another 0% off them, it's 4% really given that they charge an uncapped 2%.0 -
i'm new to stoozing, virgin are just about to deposit an amount into my account that i will stash away, then i hope to open Cap1 18th month and use it in conjunction with egg to add some more to the stoozepot (does this sound right - ask cap1 to bt 6k to virgin and 9k to egg (egg is £0 debt) then bt the 9k from egg into account, then, when egg is in anniversary, bt another 9k into account??? sounds about right to me...)
i'm hoping to build the stoozepot to about 30k, which, coupled with my own cash, the interest should be enough to help towards funding my racing for a serious attempt at the championship. or, i'll just stash the interest away somewhere0 -

Baff :jExclamation and question marks - ONE exclamation mark or question mark is sufficient to exclaim or ask about something. More than one just makes you look/sound like a prat.
Should OF, would OF. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.0 -

I use EGG as a mule to get money into my current accounts. Take out a card. Transfer the balance to EGG then feed into your current account. Easy peasy - now your not so green

You did what...??
It's not your cash so you'd better pray that the Glazer bid is successful, otherwise the shares will drop by 10% and you'll be left with £2,500 to find.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
