The whiskey thing will be the fireplace dvd as the marketing website says that the dvd is by Diageo- a large drinks company.

I'm sort of disappointed too, though I agree it's cos we've all gotten ourselves so excited about it- if we didn't have this thread to discuss it and just recieved our box of goodies we'd prob be less disappointed!

None of the things I thought (as in my earlier post about the piccys on the website- milk carton, hugo boss thing etc) seem to be in this which is sort of strange as they weren't from the first box so I wonder what they are?

I know but with all the news being so gloomy it's been nice to have this little box to look forward to & chat about.
I don't expect much but if there is something in there that makes each of us smile then that's a nice start to the weekend.

God I'm not even going to get to see my matterbox until Monday as my OH has been given many days off for thanksgiving and I'll be staying with him!

Not that I'm complaining, I love my OH and it'll be great to have so much time together - but I signed up for the matterbox before I even met him - the suspense is too much! :rotfl:
