I signed up months back for the trial box but didn't get anything, not even an email. I've signed up for my son on this one - hope he get's it as it does sound quite interesting to say the least. Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhh just like christmas lol

Hi Kitty Kate. In case you missed the blurb on my previous post this is a quote from my prompt response to a query I made directly with them:

"Thanks for the email, and sorry for the lack of Matter box and conspicuous silence. No, you haven't missed it.

We were somewhat wrong-footed by the response to the first Matter edition, which was created to see if the idea had merit and so there was a lot of things we hadn't created (a business, infrastructure etc). We really didn’t expect the response (30,000 of you so far), so we've had to re-think our plans.

The next box was planned for June but is going to be a little late–probably more like September....but it will go to everyone who's joined thus far."


Well Kitty Kate, Looks like you will be getting the real deal in September!!!!!

Yep. I responded to one at the beginning of the year. Since then I have had replies off my email enquiries which were reassuring as to why none have been sent yet (see my earlier posts). I wanted to highlight it again for those that missed out first time round as it is a bit of a FAB freebie. By the sounds of it a lot did miss the one earlier this year. Regarding the same old spam, same old spammers, different names - Can't they be deleted somehow? The first page is ALWAYS full of them! You have to go back several pages to look for the good, genuine posts:mad:

they emailed me and said that they have been overwhelmed with people joining and the next Matter box is delayed until September

Yup. They have done a trial box already (which had really fab things in such as full size shower ge,l WII merchandise and weird but cool freebies) but the first real matterbox will now be posted in September!!:T :T :T

I had a very nice and interesting conversation with one of the managers conencted to the Matter Box today.He informed me that due to huge interest the next box run will probably be September but a letter should be sent out explaining this. They have also been in conversation with RM about the feasibility of the parcel being left where stated if not in but this has not gone so well. REally helpful guy and only too happy to converse.
