Thats not £10 a month, thats at least £170 up front. There is no option to pay it at £10 a month.

Ok. See it how you like but at the present time I am paying £24pm which works out at about £575 over the next 2 years. This will cost me £240. By my calculations I will save over £300 in 2 years and that's a pretty good saving.

I took advantage of their 'offer' and had so much trouble and in the end they cancelled my subscription suddenly without warning and I was without internet access for almost 3 weeks PLUS I had to pay them, well I wouldn't have paid them but they had my money up front so they kept £90 of my money for cancelling within 3 months though *I* didn't cancel.
I've since heard of two other people who had a very similar experience and they have both got their money back, so I'm hoping that my bank will get my money back too.

Hope you get your money back Margaret.

It does concern me you have to pay upfront. I remember the old 56k days when some companies were like this, problem was that there business strategy wouldn't work as they were too cheap and some lost a whole load of money. Hopefully this isn't the case with this company but I can't see how a company like this can charge so little, when some charge a whole lot more and then start kicking high users off. Personally I would rather pay more and get a good solid service, but others may disagree.

i think by saying this you hit the nail on the head.. "the old days" for some people was only just over a year ago!and they are still tied to these deals when they could get broadband for the same or less now

people are signing up for 2mb now but companies are already starting to roll out 24mb connections in two years time are you gonna be all that happy payin that for 2mb when you could pay say 15£ for 24mb?

in my eyes buying into a LONG term deal probably isnt the best with such a variable market, sure you may not loose out but i doubt on the whole you are going to benefit all that much.

24mb would be nice :) doubt in my area it will be a long time yet, but we live in hope. I have had broadband for 5 years now on adsl, 1st 512, then 1mb and now 2mb, not with BT though, thank god.

With all the extra services one will get with such high speeds, such as video on demand, VOIP bandwidth may be the problem and less bt wholesale and other providers can keep up with demand.

It is actually a great deal, I wish i could sign up for it, but I've been with them for nearly a year and have already extended my contract due to the excellent service and great value I have had from them. Margaret is the only one I know that has had major problems causing her to cancel her subscription and I hope she gets the rest of her money back. Most others think it is a great company with great customer service.

If you like the look of the offer, There is a referrers board item where several e7 customers have put their referral numbers, and some of them offer to split their referral bonus with you - allowing you to save even more money.

You need to make your own mind up about the offer and if it suits you - take a look at the e7 referrers board thread where several e7 customers have placed their referral numbers and some of whom will split their referral bonus with you to help you save even more money. I am not allowed to post a link to the referrers board thread here due to a re-interpretation of the rules regarding referrals so unfortunately you will have to search yourselves - Sorry

    Regards
    Mike

I didn't cancel Mike. THEY cancelled without warning but I am going to take them to the small claims court.

They were absolutely rotten to me and kept most of my money that I paid up front. I know of two others who had the same thing happen!
