I did the same with O2. I requested the PAC code in January so that I could change provider. I was then given £20 credit straight away 500 text messages by the following day and I now get 300 text messages when I top up £10 every month (not £15 as advertised) and I get my 10% top up every 3 months as well. All for wanting to move!

Will they definatley try to persuade me to stay if I ring them up, as I don't want to swap to another network and am only doing it for the money? Is there any chance of them cutting me off or anything?

They will definately try to get you to stay but in the small instance that they don't them take your PAC number and do nothing with it.
It (PAC) will expire in 30 days anyway.

Didn't work for me was just offer the 500 text with a 15 top up but I already have that. I have taken my pac code and will use to switch to a cheaper network I think as text are 12p

Dammit!!!! I just tried, and although they tried to talk me out of it, they gave me my PAC code, and no bribery at all to keep me!
