Thanks alot!! OH just phoned and recieved £5 free credit and 500 free texts if spending £15 a month. But the best thing was that he was told that he doesn't have to top up the £15 in one go he can top up £5 a week if he likes, as long as the top ups total £15 before the 21st he will get his free texts.

Got 10 pound. She asked for the sim card number because the phone isn't registered. Then asked why i want to change - just said o2 seem to be offering better rewards. She said if she can persuade me to stay she will put 10 pound on my phone instantly, and I will also get free weekend calls and texts if i use a minimum of 5 pound during the week. Also, if i top up 15 pound per month i will get 500 free texts!

Was suprised how much i got considering I only spend about 10 pound a year on it (emergency calls only for this one - use my o2 phone for texts cos I get free texts)!

Think it must be worked out on how long you have been with them.

I've been with them for a few years, but never registered the phone - had to give them the sim card number when I phoned. Maybe it's to do with this as to how much I got?

Don't think this will work because you won't of been with them any length of time and thats what they base it on.

Might be worth a try? Can't see i working though.

I rang them up and got £5 plus free weekend calls and 500 texts if i top up with £15 in a month...can anyone just answer me this..if i put £15 on my phone do they automatically give me the 500 free texts , do i have to use the free texts in by a certain date...Thanks for telling us about this..

Yes, You will automatically get your 500 free texts and you will get 31 days to use these. If you have any remaining after 31 days they will be removed and you will lose them.
