The cheapest i have seen is on O2 , £149.99 for the phone, 250 minutes and 50 texts a month ( 500 minutes and 100 texts for the first 3 months ) for £35 per month

I have been looking and this is the cheapest i have seen.

There is one for £69.99 for the phone, but the line rental is £75 per month, works out at nearly £970 a year.

The link above is the best imo.

I thought this but my mate is convinced that his partner was told that if he goes on the £70 a month tariff he can get the phone free then lower to the minimum tariff after the 3 months. This was by Vodafone in Bristol by the way, he's not got it yet as this was Saturday and they hadn't received their stock.

You have to normally wait 6 months before you can lower your tariff with Vodafone.
