North East Derbyshire Citizens Advice Bureau would like to say we are very impressed by this site and hope we can positively contribute in assisting those with debt issues.

We have a number of dedicated debt case workers who hope to contribute in their own time on this site and other forums we are currently members of.

We are a Citizens Advice Bureau committed to providing free, independent, impartial advice, and of course we are a non profit-making organisation.

We hope this is OK Martin, would somebody please contact us if there are any issues or problems with us posting on this website in the present format?

Well, welcome to the site!

While it may very well be that you *are* North East Derbyshire CAB, I don't recall any branch posting on here like this..... and since there are many ways trolls and others try to undermine the work done by this site, in all its manifestations, can I ask you to contact the central administration of the site please? The listings below are copied from the page of Contacts, obtained from the links at the very bottom of the page. They're mostly media, as you'll see, and you're not, but to be honest I'm a little uneasy at seeing your post on here. I hope you understand - an introductory post from one of the webmasters would probably be best.

Just as a general thing, because I'm not sure how long you've been lurking or anything, but you need to obtain permission to have links in your signature. If you don't, then the .sig police will come and take them away... :eek:

As others have said, if you wish to post on MSE in an "Official Capacity" then you need to seek permission from the site admins first.

For example, the members who post here representing CCCS gained specific permission from Martin before posting.

The same goes for links in your signature, even if they are ones that have been approved by MSE admins for other posters (like mine).

Hi everyone

I just checked and North East Derbyshire CAB had emailed the abuse team to double check it was ok to post. I've just spoken to Paul there and confirmed they are who they say they are.

Several helpers will be using this username to give any useful info they think may be relevant for you and possibly answering questions now and then if they know of a resource that could help.
