I think you should definatly acknowledge at least with eye contact and a smile if you know someone has recongised you. I once saw someone with the same amount of fame as you. When i approached them and politly asked for an autograph he didn't speak to me, gave me no eye contact but did give me his autograph. He is a comedian. Was a great fan but now boycott his shows as he really annoyed me. If you choose a job in the spotlight recongise the people that support you in the spotlight!

You are on TV and are the creator of the most fantastic site on the web...in my opinion anyway...which means that you ARE famous:D

You are going to be recognised more and more because the show is really becoming popular.

It seems more popular than any of the other TV you've done before, so your profile is going to rocket for a while at least.

If someone mutters your name, then they probably want to know if it is REALLY you, as i know when i saw Paul Daniels in Poundland i wasn't sure at 1st if it was him, so they may not be sure unless you look at them and smile....thats probably the best thing to do.
if they say hi then say hi
if they mutter 'is that the MSE guy' or some such phrase, just give them a knowing smile...thats what Paul Daniels did to me.

Thanks again for this site, 90% of my web time is spent on here, and i've saved and learnt so much... i am pleased i share my Birthday with the site too

Keep your head up, smile and be proud! All of those people in the queue who recognise you will be thrilled that you acknowledged them. All the others who don't recognise you yet will think what a nice change to see someone smiling and when they do come across you on TV one day they'll be able to tell all their friends that they have 'met' you!
