If you haven't yet bought the new Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, ToysRus have the book for £9.99 including your choice of FREE Harry Potter Action figure worth £6.99. It's a decent size figure too, about twice the size of the Star Wars Figures.

If you buy Online, P&P is about £4 But the Offer is Available In Store (Store Finder

Yup - mentioned this on here on Monday - on the page before this one - lol :)

  • I pre-ordered the new Harry Potter book from a website claiming to be the cheapest place on line at £5.69 as long as you ordered before 04/07/05. The website was https://www.club1uk.com. I have not received the book but payment was taken at the time of ordering by pay pal. All emails to customer care have gone unanswered. Has anyone had a similar problem ?

Just to let you know I foolishly purchased the book from club1uk and guess what....it didn't turn up ! Looking at the page now if you click on buy now it takes you to paypal page which says 'Error detected' 'This recipient is currently unable to receive money.' Just about speaks for itself really dosen't it ! I don't suppose there's anyway of clawing the mony back through paypal is there? Well you live and learn, at least it was only 6 pounds, then again, I wonder just how many 6 pounds they received ! Probably sunning themselves on some tropical island now......reading Harry Potter !!!

If you live in Norwich, and have no problem visiting car boots, there is a stall at Arminghall car boot on a Wednesday morning that has been selling the books for £5. Shame I've already bought and read mine!!

Has anyone bought the Harry potter audio books on CD ?

They are still quite expensive, but I have found all 6 (seperately) for a combined price £246.26 on amazon.co.uk and £199.94 on play.com

Has anyone found them cheaper anywhere else ?

    Waiting in anticipation :j

    Thanks

I have found a copy of Philosophers stone on CD in my local library, so I shall listen to this first before I commit to £200 for all 6.

Anyone know of any cheaper than play.com's price ?

    Thanks

I haven't bought them I'm afraid but we have borrowed them from the library and they are fantastic. We ordered each set as the library don't have many copies, but it worked out really well.
