I personally would avoid pre-ordering and just purchase one from any of the supermarkets on launch day. They will all be trying to out-do each other.
i was just going to say the same!

Peeps,
The new Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince is being sold from tomorrow on ASDAs website for £8.96 for pre-orders (not out until 16 Jul 05). Not a bad price.

It's available now, I ordered it earlier today. Including postage it's still about £1 cheaper than Amazon and it gets delivered on the release date.Addicted to moneysaving! :rotfl:0

U sure it will turn up on the 16th! I would rather pay an extra £ from amazon and have it definetly turn up on the day!0

You can get this as a pre-order for £9.99 and I think they still have free delivery on books for this week, so presumably it won't be £11.70 with postage like Asda...0

if you pre-order the book
will you get a first edition0 -
I pre-ordered mine during the Tesco.com free delivery week (plus there was a 50p off coupon that I found in store) and have just received an email today informing me that they will only be charging me £8.96 for the book (no delivery charge)

I saw this, but as I need 2 it isn't cheaper for me....as Amazon give free P&P over £19.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
