Very wet phone
My Nokia 6230i phone (Virgin Mobile pay as you go) got very wet yesterday and despite drying it out in my airing cupboard overnight, on switching the phone on this morning and entering the correct pin, it has said I am entering the incorrect number and requests the puk code (which I do have)
Thinking I was being clever, I put the virgin sim card into my old 02 Nokia pay as you go phone and entered the puk code but it came up asking for a restriction code....
What I want to know is, is that it? have I commited my sim card to phone heaven (unless I can find the 02 unlock restriction code) or will it all be ok if I simply put it back in my nokia 6230i assuming of course that this decides to work ok??? At the moment when you press a certain number, it doesn't recognise it hence why despite entering the correct pin it thought it was wrong? any tips for rescuing a wet phone???

Get some alcohol from Maplin, take the phone apart, soak it in the alcohol, clean all the contacts using a cotton bud.
Leave to dry for another day.
Reassemble.
Worked for my Blackberry Pearl.0
