Boots - Points Bonanza Continues... II

Can anyome confirm for me pls...i went into boots om sunday...printed my vouchers from the machine with the offers on... 3 different items 3 different offers..toni and guy 200 points...box of boots tissues 50 points and beverley hills toothpaste 100 points... they all went through the till fine BUT .. it was triple points sunday and the machine DID NOT triple my points! I had to get a supervisor..who had a hangover and couldnt be bothered to even hold a conversation lol to add the points for me.. the girl on the till had just said triple points arent valid on promotions on points from the machine... IS THIS TRUE-HAVE I COMPLETELY MIS-READ THIS THREAD ALL THIS TIME??? If so.. im gutted for being so stupid but happy to have the points!

triple points are on purchases only,
the 'extra' points from the vouchers are added after the purchase points are tripled!

so if you spend a tenner on your stuff you get 40 points x 3 = 120 points PLUS your extra

I'm sure I've used 2000 pts when triple pts is on before!

Are you sure about this? I thought you didn't get purchase points when you were getting something with an extra points offer.

E.g. something is £10 and you have a voucher for 500 points back when you buy it

you get 500 points in total not 540.

If I return something to boots.com do they claim back the advantage points? and if they do, what happens if I've already spent them (bearing in mind you have 30 days to return the goods and the points appear after about 5 days)

I'd like to know the answer to this too. I ordered something but forgot to go through Greasy Palm so I re-ordered through the Greasy Palm link with the intentions of cancelling the first order.

The two orders were done within a few short minutes of each other but the option to cancel wasn't available so I'll just need to return the first item when it arrives for a refund.

Just curious as to whether they will take the points too. I know it says on the site that they may do this, but I wonder if they actually do? I might end up 900 points better off than I'm expecting to be, lol. ;D

Does anyone know whether or not the triple points extension has been applied instore as well, or only on the website? i had to rush in nab me yoghurt covered raisings get straight out so didnt have time to notice any signs and partially sighted so cant read receipt.

just i forgot a pile of stuff on friday when it WAS tripled instore and it would make up for my mistake if it was still tripled - my purcahses wont come to over £40 for free delivery online you see.

Cant find it either - did you spend over £15 on No. 7 cos this purse thingy is free if you do - maybe it had something to do with that?

yeah now showing at £20, they must have realised their mistake!! no i didn't buy any other n07 stuff just the bags at 1p. thought it was a mistake never expected to actually recieve them, but they came this afternoon!!!
