compared to everyone else mine is a very minor triumph. I used my half price no7 foundation voucher from the magazine and still got 3 for 2 on No 7 - lipstick, eyeshadow and foundation for just over £13...didn't dare hand over the 150 points on a foundation voucher though but I wonder if it would have worked too.
  • Should have they could have only said no....

    ..... and kept it :D

  • ok well spoke to me dad and hed rather get the camera instore so no online binge for me.

am i right in thinking if i use a double points token i cant use any other tokens with it? as i have a 10pc off token and would obviously be entitled to the over £30 coupon from the machine. i presume i cant use my 10pc AND my double pts token together?

sorry just making sure i understand all these boots rules thats all.

advantage card, were you going to pay for the camera with points or with money?

you wouldn't normally be able to use two tokens in one transaction, but i would go for the 10% off one. Better than 8% back in points.

If anyone has any vouchers for the soft toys that they are not likely to use,the school where my sister works does shoe boxes up for less fortunate children for xmas with various bits and pieces.
If you have any that you would like to send me PM me with your address and I will send you a stamped addressed envelope so that you can send them to me at no cost to yourself and then I can get the toys and give them to her.

    Many Thanks

Final request if anyone has any spare.

Regarding the 'Clean and Clear' range, the best idea (as Misty said earlier) is to bring a basket full of face mask sachets up to the counter with one other product from the range and your voucher for 150 bonus points.

That way you will get 150 points per item. Even if the assistant is particularly vindictive, they can't really refuse to put your transaction through like that. It shouldn't become an issue and no 'casual chats' will be needed.

    EG 10 face masks @ 66p = £6.60
+ 1 pack of facial wipes at £2.39 (I think)
    = £8.99 and 1650 points (worth £16.50)

The shocked expression on the assistant's face as they read the receipt and tell you how many points you got is priceless.

A word of warning, though: make sure the assistant scans the bar code on the voucher, otherwise they will have to add your points on manually and you'll only get 150 (ie the ones you should have got for the facial wipes).

This happened to me on Friday and I just went to a different till at the pharmacy counter and explained to the nice ladies that my girlfriend had sent me to buy this stuff and that when I rang her to say I had got it, she went off on one because I had stupidly bought the wrong things. ;D

You'd be surprised how easy I find it is to convince women that I'm stupid. ;) They were very patient and gave me a full refund (forgetting to take off the 150 points I had got as well). :D

Then it was off to the next Boots store to plunder the shelves. I am now on almost £200 which is enough for a DVD recorder. Should be fun to see the assistants' reaction when I pay in points!

it's not really points as such but I noticed this on the boots site

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1047615

buy the £2.50 lipbalm, get an £8 facial pamper pack thingy free - might be a nice present for someone?
