How can he / she be talking about sending a leaflet when he / she who told us about the offer clearly stated as above in the post that this offer is not in their leaflets or on their website so it is obvious he / she was talking about sending a phone!!

Also he / she who asked for the person to send a phone to them sent me a pm saying the following

"I saw the post when it was in freebies, She said the phones were FREE."

Easy Tiger! It was clear to me, I just thought he/she must've mis-read the first post.

If I'd known about the PM, I wouldn't have thought what I did.

    Knowing what I know now, I agree with u 100%. :T

    Hey i am a nice tiger i don't bite that hard :p

By the way i got a 12 month contract, 500 minuets, 100 text messages and mobile phone for free back in march you just need to claim your money back every couple of months which i have not had any problems with so far so i would recommend an offer like this if you have a good memory to send your bill etc off to claim your money back

    Sorry people..
Maybe I’m too old to understand how these things work. If I understand Miss G’s last post. I can go into Link, get one of these fancy new phones on a 12 month contract get 500 minuets 100 text messages. As I have never used 500 minuets or 100 text a month it would all be free..?
They will send me a bill for £000 every month and I will send it back and pay nothing..
Why has everybody not got one? All you youngsters have to do is get several of these phones. Keep one for receiving calls and messages and use the others up to their limit every month.
I must get some for the grandkids; they are always looking for money to buy credit.
How do these firms make money?
    Matt.

I don't know what the free minuets or text are as it may be a different offer from what i got as i got mine over the internet from dial-a-phone back in march.

Each month you pay your line rental say £30 a month (my first 3 months was £15 1/2 price line rental), you send one of the vouchers that you received from them back in the post (i send mine recorded delivery so i know they get it) every 3 months.

I got 3 months free insurance which at 2 months i gave a months notice that i wanted to cancel as after 3 months they charge you (no excuse to charge you then)

You need to be an organised person to remember to send the vouchers back with your bill, cancel the phone insurance etc.

I notices in the small print that in order to get the cash back the account needs to run with no problems like late payments or problems with bank details etc so when you receive your conformation you need to check it all with a fine tooth comb that your bank details etc are all correct as you don't want to be paying for something for 12 months when it was supposed to be free that's not a good money saver

some thing are not free with the contract like sending pictures and 0845 numbers

I got £10 cash back from ordering online and i got another £40 cash back after a month so it worked out i pay £10 for a year after i get all my cash back

These firms do make money still and even more if people forget to send the voucher back etc

I have not seen the offer in the link so it may be different but i am basing all this from the offer what i got in march from dial-a-phone

I hope this is of some help

I also bought a Nokia 7600 on '3's "500 mins and 100 text messages free" tariff from e2Save last year, when it was toally free and have received my 6th month cashback (a cheque actually). As 'MissG' said, you just gotta remember not to make any non-included calls or go over your mins or text allowance, to make sure it stays totally free at the end of the year.
