Hello all... my ex, who's Middle Eastern, actually eats these, so whatever you think, there is a precedent... :rotfl: (and no, I can't bear the thought - almost ate some once thinking they were lychees...)

  • Morning all,
Doing a serious bit of calculation today as need to work out what I can op this month. I'm hoping for £500+ but have a service and MOT mid-month so will depend a bit on that.
Moneysaving measures to be taken this week:
    - sandwiches made at home for work every day
    - walk to work on Wednesday (only day I don't have appointments elsewhere this week)
    - low budget shop - try to keep under £15 - at least half stuff must be from basics range
    - carry on using freezer stuff up - even if i can't tell what it is - and batch cook
    - no after work drinkies
    - start measuring energy use again to try and cut down
    - showers not baths
    - put ALL small change in le cochon

Have just been re-reading my diary from the beginning and feel like i'm not as good as i was when i was earning less so need to address that!

Will post again when I have calculated.................

    PO xx

    Hi NewLeaf
Feeling a bit down today. Went to look at the court - it's bigger than the one before so more scary. more scary for him too though. the nice security guard who showed me round let me try out the witness box and everything though so that's useful and also told me where evryone else would be sitting. can't wait for it to be over.
i am a giant redwood tree! lol.
thanks for cheering me up and asking.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
