With that degree of increase in your net income, you should be well on track to build up additional savings and clear the mortgage rapidly too. I look forward to hearing how this pans out; well done!0 -

Morning all,
Now is the time to get back on track......difficult as there are still some unknowns - new salary??? how much to extend DH's visa now we're married (looks expensive but can we get through to the BIA on the phone???) and some hosptail treatment for a broken arm two days before we were married (I let him play football when I obviously shouldn't have!!) It was only splinted for the wedding, now it's in a bright blue plaster!!)
On the up side, I bagged up £6.00 from le cochon last night - working on the theory that small amounts will add for the moment. That will get banked on Saturday.
So all fanciful stuff like weddings ane interviews is gone, and back to reality - a concerted effort. Back to a petrol free day each weekend too.
Will catch up on other threads soon too - haven't read any for ages!
love to you all,
