Mega Mega Help Needed

Well,

I Own A
Cable & Wireless 802.11g High-Speed 108mbps ADSL Modem Router - Model Number HSADSLR15CW3

It Is Working Perfectly And Smoothly.

It Is Connected To A XP System WIRED.
And My XP Laptop Wireless, With A Adapter.

I'm Buying A Vista Laptop With Built In Wireless :T

My Question Is:

Do I Need A New Driver For Me To Connect Wirelessly To The Router, Or Not,

If So, Can I Have A Driver Link,

Thanks

You shouldn't need any drivers to connect to it - it should pick up you have a wireless network nearby and then you just use the standard MS network procedures for connecting. Only if you need to use your new machine to reset the actual would you possibly need the software it came with to allow connection to it (but even then it can be done without...)
Anyone can connect to a wireless network (or even wireless) so long as you have the correct security details to set up the access.

Erm if it's built in wireless then all you need to do is tell vista to connect to the wireless router and give it the network key when asked.

THIS IS CAPS LOCK - the op merely uses a larger font than the standard which is set to 2 and enters a capital letter for each word :) Hard work if you ask me but each to their own :)

No, but you will need the driver if its not already installed (which it will be on a brand new buy) or you mess about with it sniffing other networks.
Please support my thanks button if I have been of any help

It Depends If The Reply Is Posted Using Post Quick Reply But Either Way, The Way That The Op Posts Just Looks Childish And Silly.

That line was posted with Caps Lock on, using Post Quick Reply.

How on earth are we meant to give you a link if you haven't bought the laptop yet so don't know what hardware's in it?
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
