Awww! You guys missed me? :rotfl:sweet!

It was hubby's long weekend so I did as little as possible! Actually he helped out a fair bit, well yesterday anyway.

Just to drop the tone a bit, I just squeezed a spot, one of those ones where its a tiny white spot but there is a huge sore lump under it, and spent the past 15mins getting pus out of it! :( eurgh, is this normal? My chin was like, infected! gross!

I am back, and flying! Hubby put the xmas decs up the loft so I have my hall back! And it's needs hoovering and cleaning like wow, so I am off with a black bag and the hoover to make a start. I have done loads though, honest, filter :coffee: is like rocket fuel, seriously wow.

of course we missed you.. it was positively regal in here!!

Yes the spot sounds normal I get ones like that on my chin.. I had a huge black hair on mine yesterday.. I thought I was turning into a goat!!

    Off to have a fling!

Thanks for the choccie pigpen. Anyone else want a bit?

Tia of course we missed you. The last we heard, your OH hadn't got back from the pub. Have you burried/cooked him? Some tips would be great. The last time I tried to 'kill' my OH, his mates were trying to help me find a JCB. One of them even offered to bury him in his garden! :rotfl:

That was smile 2 for the day. I've got my yearly appraisal soon (kind of hoping it's today for some reason). Fingers crossed I get the pay rise I'm looking for or else I may have to start looking for another job.....

Is it lunch yet? I've got tuna, mayo, cheese sandwich waiting for me in the fridge. I'm hungry!

OH was at his friends house, and he came home at 8.30pm, after saying he would be home for dinner. His excuse was that I called him at 5.45pm in a mood and he decided that as I was already in a mood he may as well stay out. And then BOOM! :rotfl:

I forgave him the next day when he made me coffee.

Then yesterday he spins his car out going round a corner too fast 'But I have done it loads of time in the bus' yeah, a bus, not a wee 3 door fiesta. He has dented the floor in the back foot well so it now meets the bottom of the drivers seat. Oh yea, before that he was complaining that my car needed two new front tyres to pass it's MOT. He 'claims' I do too many wheel spins. I don't, I just didn't put air in them for two months and they were running at 16 instead of 30.... well, the air pump at the garage wasn't working, not my fault!

Anyway, I need to go get some slap on and get DS2 to nursery then take my Dad to the pet shop and stop off at the stables on the scrounge for a horse shoe.

So shall we call you Goatpen?

Jjef – we both have taste then! That and the fact we’d like our feet to stay dry!
Likklegibbon – well done on the weight loss!
Maralum – congratulations on the new job and hugs for everything else that’s going on in your life.
    Skintscottslass – hugs to you.

Spent the morning visiting my mum and dad. The lady from over the road phoned (the one who keeps phoning at all hours) while I was there and wanted me to go and unblock her loo! Then she started saying my dad had been rude to her. I'm afraid I told her to phone a plumber. I've emailed her son (who lives abroad) to tell him she needs more help. Apparently she was swigging morphine from a bottle when my mum went round at the weekend! That can't be right.

Now I need to find my list and get off my bum...then again, think i'll read for half an hour first xx

Maralum and Skintscotslass big hugs for you both, hugs for anyone else who needs them too!
    LG well done :D
Mudbath, sorry but that is definately a reason to contact her GP about it if her son doesn't get back to you ASAP, that is dangerous

Thanks for the messages, studying is going sort of OK, would be better if we didn't all have colds (DP now has it so thinks he's dying!) Of course at the moment it's just reading and practise, must find out when first assignment due, March I think.

Just been to DS1s review, could have cried with happiness, such brilliant reports, teacher asked me what self harming he did at the other school because he hasn't done it there yet :D they've been able to remove some of the negatives from his statement aswell which is great.

Haven't even started on my room yet because when I went out DP was still in bed, so will have to go and strip the bed now...................ttfn :)
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hi folks

Thanks for your kind words and hugs. I've been sent home as I couldnt stop crying. G&B - yes, its the cousin who's 30th birthday spa is tomorrow. Well, it was. We've cancelled, although I think some of the girls from her work are still going. I just couldnt, I decided last night to cancel, before I knew he had died. No idea what to do about her birthday present. I was going to get her a bottle of champagne, but that seems really inappropriate now. Any ideas?

Maralum - what a week! Can you have a look at the 3 bedroom house? DH may change his mind when he sees it?

Mudbath - can you involve the social work/GP?

Lil_me - its really great to hear some good news. Thats fab!!

Away to hang out the washing. Its finally stopped raining and its a beautiful sunny day xx

Skinscotslass - could you not still get the champagne and give it to her to celebrate her dad's life when she's ready. When my OHs best friend died we bought a bottle of champagne and toasted his life and reminised about him. If you're still not comfortable with that why not get her a voucher to have a treatment locally, they usually last at least 6 months and she might need some stress relief in the coming months. Hugs to you xx

Lil_me - i've just phoned her doctor and spoken to the receptionist as I'm worried she doesn't realise how strong the morphine is and she's not eating properly which will make it worse. The receptionist said she can't discuss it with me but she could say that a doctor will be visiting her when he's finished his surgery. To then read your post makes me think i've done the right thing. Fantastic news about your son too...i'm really pleased for you xx

I've still not got off my bum!

SSL... Arrange another date.. Maybe her dads birthday.. I KNOW it is hard today... but it'll get easier and keep the champagne.. and when you have your spa day in a few months time you can drink it then.. and make a toast to your uncle and have a laugh and a cry and a hug and heal together and each other. You could book it now as a surprise for her.. yes it IS appropriate.. even though I know it feels like it isn't. big squishy soft fluffy hugs for you both.
